Cost is $30 for this three-hour workshop, Wednesday, Nov. 6, 11AM - 2PM, at the conference room at 1st Southwest Bank (249 Navajo Trail). Bring a brown bag lunch. Drinks and desserts will be provided.
Topics to be covered include board recruitment and retention, on-boarding and orientation, retreats and evaluation.
ADDED BONUS: all staff who register will have a second opportunity, at no cost, to meet for an informal Q&A session with the trainers. Ask those burning questions and learn from your peers who are tackling similar challenges. The "bonus" roundtable is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 7, 12-1 PM, also at 1st Southwest Bank (Light snacks will be provided).
ANOTHER ADDED BONUS: participants will have access to a Google Drive full of articles and samples -- your very own road map for a successful board.
